Karen Boutiette - OT, CLT, ATRIC

Dove Healthcare - South, Director of Rehabilitation / Certified Aquatic Therapist

Karen received her degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Catherine in 1997. Her primary practice has been in the field of physical rehabilitation with a focus on geriatrics. Karen has also pursued further training to obtain her certification as a lymphedema therapist.

After attending a course provided by the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute, Karen completed the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Industry Exam and received her aquatic therapy certification.

"I enjoy being a part of cutting-edge rehabilitation," Karen said. "The opportunity to work at Dove Healthcare's new state-of-the-art facility and be a part of the Transitions Aquatic Therapy program is so exciting."

Jeff Sauter - MA

Dove Healthcare - South, Aquatics Director

A Wisconsin native, Jeff received his undergraduate degree in Health/Biology/Psychology from UW-Superior and his graduate degree in Counseling Psychology/Special Populations from Ball State in Muncie, IN. He has spent 30+ years in the Health and Wellness field and has a special interest in utilizing physical activity to improve the quality of ones life.

His lifetime of involvement in aquatics has exposed him to the many benefits that water exercise provides and its amazing effects on a variety of people dealing with an assortment of conditions.

"I receive no greater enjoyment than witnessing improvement in ones state of well-being. Not only does water assist in this regard but the exceptional staff create relationships that greatly enhance the healing process. Dove Healthcare is a forward-thinking organization and has set a new standard in the delivery of high quality care."

Gina Ostrowski - PT, ATRIC

Dove Healthcare - South, Physical Therapist / Certified Aquatic Therapist

Gina graduated from the University of Kansas and received her license as a Physical Therapist in 1981. She has practiced primarily in the field of physical medicine with focus areas including general acute therapy, out-patient therapy, and geriatrics.

Gina attended a course on Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation and completed her Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Industry Exam, becoming certified in aquatic therapy.

"I'm proud to be a member of Dove Healthcare and Transitions Rehabilitation team," Gina stated. "The entire staff works together to assure excellent quality of care."

Ben Reich, PT

Dove Healthcare - South, Physical Therapist

Ben received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Carroll University in 2009. He has practiced in the field of physical rehabilitation with focuses in out-patient orthopedics, aquatic therapy, geriatrics, and acute inpatient therapy.

He has attended continuing education in aquatic therapy and is working toward his certification in aquatic therapy.

"As a former athlete, I look forward to helping athletes make a return to sport using the technology of the Hydroworx pool," Ben stated. "With all the treatment options available at Dove Healthcare - South, the rehabilitation possibilities are endless."

Brenda Meinen, OT

Dove Healthcare - South, Occupational Therapist

Brenda received her degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Catherine in 1986.  Her practice has consisted of in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation, geriatrics, and hand rehabilitation. Brenda has also pursued further training to obtain her certification as a lymphedema therapist.

Brenda has received post graduate training in aquatic therapy from the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute.

"I am so excited to be a part of Dove Healthcare and the Transitions Rehabilitation team. Everyone seems so happy to be here which is reflected in the great care they provide to their patients."

   

Lindsay Johnson, PTA

Dove Healthcare - South, Physical Therapist Assistant

Lindsay graduated in 2009 from Western Technical College in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Her areas of interest are in-patient and geriatric rehabilitation.

Lindsay has received post graduate training in aquatic therapy from the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute.

"I'm very excited to be part of this state-of-the-art facility and being part of the Dove Healthcare and Transition Rehabilitation team!"

   

Carrie Armstrong, PT

Dove Healthcare - South, Physical Therapist

Carrie received her degree in Physical Therapy from Marquette University in 1999. Her primary practice has been in the field of physical rehabilitation with a focus on geriatrics.

By attending a course provided by the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute, Carrie increased her knowledge in the use of aquatics in physical therapy for a variety of out-patient and in-patients.

"It is very satisfying to help patients on their journey toward independence."

   

Duree Thatcher, OT

Dove Healthcare - South, Occupational Therapist

Duree received her degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Catherine in 2001. Her treatment experience includes mental health, physical dysfunction, and in-patient rehabilitation. Duree has also pursued further training in Yoga instruction.

Duree has received post graduate training in aquatic therapy from the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute.

"I enjoy being part of a progressive company that has a great openness to new ideas and treatments. Being part of an in-house therapy department leads to being part of a cohesive team which provides outstanding care to every patient we serve."

Dove Healthcare - South, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Carrie is a 2003 graduate of WITC in Ashland, Wisconsin. Her practice includes in-patient rehabilitation and mental health. She has also taken courses to further her education in stroke rehabilitation.

Carrie has received post graduate training in aquatic therapy from the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute.

"I love being a part of such a hard working team. Everyone works so hard together to achieve the greatest outcomes for our patients."
